So for my Drama class, we are going to this morning tea. However, we have to attend this morning tea as the three dimensional character that we create ourselves. People in my class performed on the Hot Seat today and they were so good and I felt so bad because I hadn't started on my character and I was also extremely nervous to perform in front of people anyway, especially because I'm new. But my Drama teacher is, of course, the best person ever and I think she understands how fucking insecure I've been lately. Anyway.
I was going to go as a guidette (like from Jersey Shore) but then I realised how ridiculous and un-three dimensional they are, not to mention how embarrassing they are and how hard it would be to perform them while being nervous. Anyway, because I just today recently finished watching My So Called Life, I have a ridiculous fascination with Rayanne Graff. So my character is a little bit like her, but also mixed in with a few other people I've seen around.
But for my process of creating a character needs a kind of background story set down so I know what track I'm on. So, I dressed up in my costume and talked to myself in my character for about an hour then wrote this: (note; it sounds really lame when its not being read out loud by a wild, light American accent girl. ((ps I know its so cliche that I have an American accent, but I just love the way they say class and can't)))

Name
Like as in full name? Well my names Stevie, if that’s what you are asking. If you asking for my paper name, then its Amelia Stevenson. When I was in primary school I kind of didn’t have any girl friends so these mean girls in my year called me Steve because I was one of the boys but then it kind of evolved to Stevie, I don’t know. I like though. I reckon Amelia, well like Amelia is a good name for you know, people who look like they should be named Amelia. But I don’t. I don’t really know what my dad was thinking.

Age
Seventeen years young.

Occupation
Sometimes I play a guitar set at local bars, It doesn’t really play that well. Actually, I think I give more money to them than they do to me.

Family
My brother’s name is Vincent Stevenson, can you believe that? I don’t know what came over my father when he named his children Vincent and Amelia. Anyway, my brother’s five years older than I am and we’re kind of close. He’s in Cambodia at the moment making kid’s houses or something like that. He’s kind of uncontactable right now.
My dad listens to Jimi Hendrix and owns a guitar shop. He’s 48 and has a few grey hairs.
My parents got married when my mom was 20 and my dad was 26. My dad was overseas in the United States on tour with his band and then my mom got pregnant with Vinny and it was all kind of rushed. They thought they were madly in love, and my dad was. But my mom was the coolest girl in school and my dad was the mysterious travelling musician. And to her surprise, she was completely unhappy living in a house with one bedroom and no spectacular view. I think she must have spent her whole life thinking she would meet her dream guy in university while they were both studying medicine or something. But um, my mom left when I was three and Vinny, was eight. After that we moved back to Australia on account of my dad being Australian.

Socio economic status
Well you know, for my birthday I got a guitar capo and I can’t remember the last time I ate dinner off a plate.

Education
Well I’m supposed to be at school at McKinnon but that didn’t really work out on account of that I never attended any of my own classes. I think the only class that I did actually go to was my friends English class because the teacher was really attractive. Well of course I went for the first few years but then they started teaching parabolas or something like that and I started spending my maths period out behind the toilet block across the oval with Joey. Then it turned into me spending all my classes behind the toilet block with Joey. Which then turned into me spending time with Joey at his house.

Physical characteristics
I don’t brush my hair and I really do enjoy red lipstick. I’m supposed to be tan on account of me being outside all the time but my mother was really pale or something so I just ended up getting a lot freckles, but they are easily concealed. Also, I don't think I've ever planned an outfit before just some how ending up wearing it.

Pets
I’ve got one Rottweiler named Jimi, after Jimi Hendrix. He doesn’t wear a collar and he’s never bitten anyone in his life. But he does like to jump a lot, especially on people who are stupid enough to wear white to my house.

Hobbies
I like to play guitar. I started learning when I was nine. My brother taught me and my dad had taught him. Occasionally we jam together. We joke that one day we’ll start a band and hit the road. I really want that to happen. I also like writing poetry. You know like, how amazing is it that you can turn your thoughts or feelings into words? Like think of the best word you know and that’s how you feel, you can write the best kinds of stuff. I like writing poetry because you get better at just talking, the kinds of analogies I come up with sometimes, is awesome.

Likes
I like my friends. The real ones, you know? Like people who actually know you and aren’t afraid to dance to the guy playing the didgeridoo on the corner with you. I like meeting people who understand the way the world is meant to be. Even though I never have, I like to travel. One day I’ll travel the world and the air will smell thick and every time you inhale, you can smell the culture.

Dislikes
I dislike people who like money. I dislike the city. How can people live in this concrete grave that they’ve but themselves in and think that they are happy?
The people who don’t appreciate truthful people, like of course I’ve judged a few people in my life but people who just live in their world of the internet and matching black suits, how can they enjoy that? I dislike people who see the world in grey.
