This morning I woke up and decided that when I grow up I want to be Marieke Hardy. She was on Melbourne’s 3RRR radio show “Best of the Brat” for over ten years, and then went on to co-hosting the breakfast show at Triple J. She has appeared on television programs, then pursued a career in script writing. She wrote and produced a 22 episode drama series on channel 7. She wrote 11 episodes of Packed to the Rafters and co-created and co-wrote a six part TV series. She wrote commentary columns for the Age and contributes articles to Frankie from time to time.
I always check the author’s name when reading a Frankie article and get a little too over excited when I see that she has written it. (Or Benjamin Law, but that’s another story.) She is also used to have an awesome blog, but she doesn’t write in it anymore. She is also hilarious. I love her.
And now, if I add in writing a book and presenting a music TV show, she is my dream person, and maybe one day if I miraculously develop a good singing voice and excellent skill of guitar and piano, that to. And I’ll also be a great photographer.
